I am required by my insurance company to use this terrible mail order pharmacy  Express Scripts. I  have to have all my prescriptions mail ordered to me. My MD has to send my RX to them and then they process them and then mail them to me. It takes them 6 days to process them and then another 6 days to mail them to me. I do not understand why it takes 12 days to process and mail a prescription?

I called today to inform them that I was currently out of my medication and they told me there was nothing they could do, I would just have to wait for it to arrive to me. I do not understand why a free standing store can procress an RX in one hr but a mail order pharmacy takes 6 days to get it in the mail? I don't  understand the rudeness or the incompetence of the customer service people trying to help with my mail orders. I get so  frustrated talking to these people no body seems to know what they are doing, or knows how to handle a simple situation. AGAIN, please someone tell me WHY it seems so complicated to process and order. I can order a new computer and have it delivered faster than my medications.. I pay for them to ship it faster, and it seems that they slow it down by 3 more days.  I  am so very frustrated by this stupid company, I feel like it should be against the law to REQUIRE me to use this company to fill my prescriptions with them. I pay good money for my insurance and I run in circles with them trying to get ANYTHING accomplished.
