Extreme Acai Berry As Seen On Oprah Winfrey Major Scam and Rip Off!! DO Not Order FREE TRIAL~ Davie Florida
I ordered a free trial of the acaiberry 500 as seen on Oprah Winfrey. Both Oprah and Rachael Ray's pictures were a part of the advertisement claiming the Oprah Winfrey show was encouraging people to do the trial and offering it for free, you just had to pay the 3.95 shipping and handling fee. After some research, I discovered the following: After your 14-day trial they begin charging your credit card $90.00 every thirt days unless you "call" to cancel. The phone # rings busy or if you happen to get through places you on endless hold. I sat on hold for 2.5 hrs and finally got through to a guy named Ronald. He tried to convince me not to cancel and to wait. Even offered to send me antoher free trial. I nicely refused and after some resistance he agreed to cancel my account. To prevent any further charges, I cancelled my credit card as well. Here is what else I found out 1) The address listed for them in Davie, Fl is actually for a Subway Restaurant. 2) I found another phone # in their Privacy and Disclosure Statement. That # is (801) 208-7485. This # is non-published landline in Midvale, Utah. That is the only # I was able to get through to anyone on. The 800#'s they have listed as their customer service #'s are impossible to get through on.
The whole thing is VERY sketchy and after some more research I discovered that a LOT of people have been scammed out of a lot more money than my $3.95 from this company. Pays to do a little research before getting carried away, even if there is a FAMOUS FACE associated with the ad. Wonder if Oprah knows about this?

Pays to do a little research before getting carried away, even if there is a FAMOUS FACE associated with the ad. Wonder if Oprah knows about this?
