Thank you for this website. You may have saved me a real headache. I responded to the following ad in the newspaper, "GENERAL New Year, New Career! Large Expansion. Need managers, asst. managers, general office. 1st come, 1st served, up to $576.92 weekly. Call 219-364-8152." Of course, I received an interview. Anyone who can run right in on a short notice does!!!
I went on my lunch break because I was told the interview would take 15 minutes, which ended up starting 20 minutes late, making me late back from my lunch break. I was called with a "Congratulations, You have been selected" message to come in for a second interview for 2 1/2 hours. Of course, I had to ask for personal time off and my boss and I had a fight and I quit, thinking I had something else lined up anyway.
My first "group" interview had 5 of us in the room, myself being the only one in a business suit. Something told me to look this company up on the internet and research it and boy am I glad I did. I have another job proposition that doesn't offer the sun, moon and stars, but an honest living with good benefits. I cannot thank you enough for this website. You have saved myself and my family. I'm not sorry I quit my job, I needed to anyway but this site helped me from wasting my valuable time. I will not go for the second interview this afternoon and I don't plan on wasting my time to call them! Hopefully, anyone else who interviewed checked this sight also.
Beware of any "Company Expansion Scemes". Use common sense and pay attention to the economy. Any legitimate company (for the most part) are down-sizing.
