Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Recently some friends went into a verbal business arrangement with John from Eyota Antiques to work a flea market for him. When it came time to cash out of the event, he not only kept $500+ of their share of the proceeds claiming unrealistic expenses but then refused to pay wages as well.

Be very careful when dealing with this man, get everything in writing.

Eyota antiques is a great business, and john is a great honest guy that works hard to make his costumers happy.

Hello consumers, this report was filed about a verbal agreement between john and myself by a third party so it should not be taken into concideration That john is bad to do business with in fact he is a great guy that has employed me for the past few years, and has treated me great. He has been a good friend and a good business associate. The whole reason that this report was posted. Was my fault I missunderstood the aggreement between us about the flea market that I ran for him and myself, he paid me more than fair for the work that I did. And definately should have a good name because making his costomers happy is his number one priority. He has worked very hard at his buisseness for several years helping out many people on his way. I feel terrible that the original posting was posted because of me. So anyone out there that would like to do buisseness with eyota antiques dont worry he will treat you with great respect and honesty. In closing I would like to say if there is anyone out there that can remove this report, please do so because. A man and a buisseness like this one deserves a high reccommendation not a rip off report. Thank you to everyone that read this message. And sorry to everyone that this report hurt.

The agreement was not for 50% of items sold, which was confirmed by accusor before items were picked up for flea market. I split cost of space with the accusor because he brought his own items and another persons items to sell on my space. The cost was $60.00 to him. I bought $250 worth of folding tables and 10 x 20 tent which he used. I supplied the vehicle and trailer to haul items form Eyota to Oronoco 2 times. He sold $1500.00 of my things and I paid him $420.00. He had $200.00 plus worth of items that he took from the shop and left IOU, and Money that was borrowed to him that was never paid back. I feel I more than paid him fairly for what he did. Next day after the flea market we settled up and he was fine with payment. I am sorry he feels this way but it would be better if he had talked to me and not put this type of garbage on the internet.  I will never trust anyone again on just a verbal.
