On October 10, I ordered my three credit reports with scores from myfico.com. When I gave them my Visa debit info the first time, I got a message to try again later. So I tried again, and it went through. However, they charged my debit card twice.

It's obvious to me that the charges appearing on my online baking are clearly real charges and not preauthorizations. They reduced my available AND current balance immediately. However, upon contacting customer support, here is the load of bull they gave me THE FIRST TIME:

Thank you for contacting myFICO Customer Care. Please note that the initial transactions you may see pending on your account are pre-authorizations. They may not actually post to your account or may post for a different amount.

If you want to dispute the transaction, please

- Wait for the final transaction to post to your account - an actual charge will typically post no sooner than the next business day, and may not post until several business days after your actual date of purchase.

- Determine if there is a problem with the final transaction

- Contact your credit card provider with the details of your dispute if necessary.

Your concerns are very important to us, please contact us if the above information does not resolve your billing issue.

I called their telephone number this Friday, and as the guy was giving me the load of bull about preauthorizations (I can tell what preauthorizations are from my online banking - and those weren't.), I interrupted him swiftly and told him that they're actual charges. He agreed, but he gave my case to a supervisor, since he couldn't refund my charge. But today, I got an email from the supervisor, with the same load of bull:

Now, they're gonna get a dispute with the bank on Monday, and I'm letting you know about their totally lousy customer service.
