I too have had problems with Fairbanks Capital Corp. Our company was switched from Equicredit to Faibanks Capital corp.

We were sent statements from Equicredit for about two months afterwards and not any from Fairbanks. When I contacted Fairbanks, I was informed that my payment was late, and to send my payment to the address specified by the customer service rep.

I sent our payment to the address specified, but after about two weeks noticed that my check had yet to be cashed. I called the customer service number to find out what was going on and was told that I never sent my check. After explaing that I had never received any statement, and sent it to the address that they gave me, (even confirming the address with this rep.) I was told that I was a month over due and it was my fault. I ended up paying right then for two months with my credit card.

About three or four days later I found on my door a note that said I had been called on by representatives of Fairbanks Capital Corp. and to contact them. Needless to say, I was very upset. I contacted them, and was told, they came to tell me my bill was late. I consider this a form of harassment!

My wife called our broker to get some advice and was told he has been hearing alot of complaints and negative feedback about Faibanks.

I called Fairbanks twice after, to inform them I still had not received a statement, untill I finally got my first statement, atleast 3 months after they swithed over. And yet the whole time I was made to feel it was my fault that we were late.
