Fairbanks Capital, Equicredit ripoff victimized many consumers Jacksonville Florida Utah
This company needs to be stopped. My problem started in April 2002 when Equicredit sold my account to Fairbanks. These people do not apply the payments correctly. Even when you send the payment via Western Union Quick Collect they will still post it late. Then you have to go to the Western Union people to help you with these people.
The way they run this business someone should go to jail. Dishonesty must be their policy because once you talk to some of their Service people it is apparent.
Here is what they do, call for payments that have already been made,charge you for some kind of fees they make up. Like Property Presevation Fee, Home Inspection Fee, this one they say is to see if you still ive there. Send an Intent to Foreclose Letter when you payments are caught up.
It seems this company operates under the intend to defraud and that should be against the Law, any other person or Company doing this would be in Jail.
If it is Possible there need to be a Nation Wide Class Action Suit Brought to Stop this kind of thing from happening.
