Fairbanks began servicing our loan on April 01 2002.On April 16th 2002 a Fairbanks rep. was sent to my home, the represenitive told me that "she was sent to find out if the home was still occupied".Then she handed me a piece of paper that had a number to call, and she left. I called the number, and Fairbanks asked me when I could have the April Payment sent to them, I told them that it ws not due till April 24th and it would be there. My payment was sent, and starting on June 13th 2002,I began reciveing certified demand letters stating that we needed to send them over $1,000 or we would lose our home.At this moment Fairbanks still say we owe $2,055. I began sending copies of our receipts showing that we have sent our payments, most of them being through western union, but all I would get in return from Fairbanks customer service was " when can you pay the past due amount, and would you like to make a payment over the phone". I was furious, and I told them that I didn't owe what they were saying that I owed, and it continued getting worse from there. The calls from Fairbanks would start at 8am and go on till 8pm,wanting payments that we did not owe for,I again sent copies of western union receipts with the money transfer control numbers on the receipts, and I was told by Fairbanks that the MTCN were not valid ! It just never ending with this company, and it is so sad how many people Fairbanks have screwed over! ( How many of you recieved the video?) I did, and when I called the number, and told them why I was calling I would be disconnected. Fairbanks have sent me letters saying that I don't have any home owners insurance, I sent that proof as well, and they still insist that I don't have any coverage. I wish everone the Best of Luck, and I pray that each and everyone of Fairbanks victims gets their revenge against fairbanks capital corp. GOOD LUCK EVERBODY!!
