You didn't show up to work. You lost your job. What do you want a hearing for? If you would have gone to work you would still have a job. So long as the state you are in is an "at will" state they can fire you for less than that. Plus, they won't have to pay you unemployment since no showing to a job is seen as voluntary termination, Ie: You quit.

What are the policies at the business for being sick, or not calling in and being absent? some companies will automatically suspend or fire you for a no show. Peace.
