Fandango False/Incomplete Advertising rip-off! Internet
This service extracts a premium for online ticket purchases which adds no value for smaller theatres. Specifically, you are told you have purchased a ticket and, therefore, can go directly to the ticket holders line when you arrive at the movie. Clearly a plus for new, popular movies.
However, I found out the hard way that smaller theatres without kiosks etc. require you to wait in the purchase line to have your ticket valdated. I waited 1/2 hour in a very long ticket holders line only to be told when I reached the door that I had to wait in the purchase line. Fandango should be required to note this information or refund the premium!
