I bought movie tickets at Fandango.com website (found through Google search).
I was specifically looking to see if there was any service fee -- wouldn't have purchased tickets if there was service fee because it was a matinee and there wouldn't be any lines.
No service fee was shown... UNTIL AFTER I HAD PAID. Only then, after it was too late to cancel, was the Fandango $2.50 service fee disclosed.
I sent a "contact us" web message to Fandango.com, protesting and demanding refund.
Fandango refused, claimed the service fee was disclosed somewhere on one of the web-pages. I said "show me", show me a screenshot or link because I had carefully looked for any service fee. They never responded to my request for any screenshot or link.
I know $2.50 is a small amount -- for one person. But I believe they profited by deceiving everybody who bougut tickets on their site by hiding their service fee until it was too late to cancel.
