Farepak Hampers. ripoff for hamper and voucher money for people over britain. Swindon Other
I am one of many agents for the company of Farepak Hampers whome have ordered and paid for Vouchers or hampers. I recently discovered through word of mouth that the company went bankrupt on 13/10/06. I phoned the company to find that not only is this devastating news fact but that the company have left an answering machine message for all agents to listen to and have yet to be informed by the company themselves. I found out through an agent I knew. The message informs agents that they must not send any money into Farepak as they are unable to assure the safety of any money in the future. There will be no delivery's of any goods or Vouchers from Farepak and there is nothing we can do about it.
Administrators will assess the value of the companies assets and any claims made by the agents for a refund may be months away, they are also not gaurenteeing any money refund at all and if any it will not be the full amount. This company have stolen Christmas from many people all over Britain just weeks before the big day. The sad fact is there is nothing we can do about it. We have to sit back and hope that there may be some chance of a refund in the future. Meanwhile our children have no Christmas presents to look forward to. Charlotte Mcmullen.
