In response to the ex-employee's comments. The accident happened about 3 days after the policy expired. The facts are in my file, the address was "typed in wrong" by his employee and why would he have me get 3 estimates, that is not how Farm Bureau (or any other insurance company for that matter) handles claims, if he was such a caring person he would have let me pay the premium so I could file the claim. He wouldn't.

I worked for Dean Bishop years ago over at Farm Bureau. He was an incredibly nice and understanding employer. I have never heard of anything like this ever happening before. Almost every single client that ever walked in the door really liked Dean. He tried his hardest to do whatever he could to help out each client that needed it. Were there a few that were unhappy? Yes, but that will always happen. I never saw him ever treat someone unfairly... and somehow really doubt the validity of this statement. And as for the wrong address thing, it is YOUR fault. Yes, they made the mistake, but did you think you were getting insurance for free? When you continuously didn't receive any bills for it shouldn't you have called to find out why?
