Seasonal premium RV/MotorHome catch 22 Beware of annual scam.

We had been a Farm Bureau dedicated customer for nearly 10 years and paid them a LOT of money along the way with no claims.  Recently, our original agent left and we were transferred to another agent without any contact and only found out after making some changes to our policy.

Shortly after, we noticed some unusual changes in our billing - up, then down, then continued billing for things we canceled.  After contacting the new agent, and getting the run around, we were told 5 different stories as to why the changes all took place and there was a LOT of confusion (maybe one of the tricks used to daze customers).  Ultimately we said "Well if we can't fix this we may have to cancel all of our policies" the response "Good luck with that" And were never told that if we canceled we would owe over $1000

So we canceled our policies and found that there is a small sentence in the documentation - not the contract (Farm Bureau has not been able to produce the actual contract) The sentence relates to MotorHomes and seasonal premiums, which means that FB will not credit any canceled premiums owed - even if you cancel due to their complete and total incompetence.

I asked "So we can't cancel the contract - even for cause"  The answer "NO!"

This internally leaked email from Lisa Fairbanks Farm Bureau Agency Manager in Gilbert Arizona indicates the way Farm Bureau thinks of their customers:

"no matter how hard we try we can’t satisfy the client"  Now there's a true statement!

Read the document and NEVER commit to any annual seasonal premium.

We changed to another company (All State) and saved 30% for the exact same policies and no annual clause

It certainly doesn't pay to be a loyal long term customer.  What a RIP OFF

To add insult to injury, we notified Farm Bureau legal to cancel any EFT debit and they refused, so we reported a fraud to the bank and had the EFT canceled.  Even after notifying them IN WRITING they still tried to take the $1000+ from our account.  In my book, that is an attempted THEFT!
