I purchased 2 gift certificates for thier salon. I called to use them and make appointments. They refused. They state that the certificates have expired. In the state of California gift certificates do not expire.

They are to be treated just as cash by the vendor. I will be demanding a refund from either the salon or ad-efx.com who issued the certificates. Warning to all those in L.A., do not purchase these certificates as they do not honor them!

With you spending soo much time trying to knock my business down I highly doubt that you have extra money to donate to charities. And on the subject of charity, I will bet you anything that I have donated ten times as much as you have than you have in your entire life.

I'm sorry, am I to be impressed by your "$3 million dollar Belverly Hills home" If so, I am not. Actually it is rather sad that you want to flaunt wealth, rather true or not, in a public forum in these tough ecomnomic times when so many are suffering and stuggling just to make ends meet. My own business holds well but instead of buying $3 million dollar homes, I choose to live modestly and give back to the community. So even if I were to have received your "invitation" I would respectably decline. I view this as another example of your "business ethics".

As for your supporter, I am glad he/she is happy with your service and hope they continue to receive good service. Oh, and hope they enjoy helping you pay for that $3 million dollar home. However, I am sure several organizations could really use just 1 month's mortgage payment to feed those less fortunate. If you need a list, let me know.

I don't know what your gripe is about this salon but you are way off. I have been coming here for years and have always had the best service and been treated with respect from all of the staff, you seem like you are just looking for drama and it is very childish of you to go after a business who has a great repor with anyone who I have seen come there.

20 % of our cliental are men that are repeat customers, that in fact  have enjoyed our salon services for years , some even celebrities, and as a matter of fact even a few of our salon male employees are from the West Hollywood community. We don't know what your personal agenda is, but I wish you the best of luck.

I had already stated that the refund issue was settled and resolved. My complaint against your sexist salon remains. Why is it that you discriminate against men? Do men not deserve salon services at you facility? Our money is just as green as women's! And being located in the West Hollywood area which has a large Gay male community, I am sure they will not be please to hear of any type of discrimination which I will make sure they hear of!

This was not a gift certificate, but rather it was a promotional package sold by a third party in cooperation with Farre Salon. All financial proceeds were collected by the marketing company and all the expenses and services were provided by Farre Salon for the sole purpose of gaining  new clients . These packages have an expiration of 6 months after the date of purchase.

Ad-EFX gave me my refund. They were not wrong in this action and I hold no further ill will towards thier company. I encourage everyone to look them up for your promotional need as they seem to really care about the consumer. Farre Salon you are still a bunch of rude crooks who after further conversations with them, the manager has made it crystal clear she has a problem with working with guys. Anyway thanks again Ad-EFX!
