Fast Service and Sales ripoff consumer fraud ripoff Rochester New York
This Auto Dealer sold me a USED car.This Dealership fails to Certify ( legally ), vehicles Under New York State Laws of sales sec. 417,and under NYs Inspection Laws. They take the vehicle to an inspection Station wich passes them when they are not leagal to pass.I now have Estimates ( all different of course ) from Auto Repair Shops,Some of wich state the car is DANGEROUS to be driven.
One shop said this couldn't have happened in the time i've had it . 3 wks. I know it wasn't inspected leagally because the parking brake does not work.
The Dealer first said they wouldn't fix anything,and denied the defects exist.I have sent for a DMV COMOLAINT FORM,and I have an option of SMALL CLAIMS COURT.I have prepared and handed them a letter w/ attached ESTIMATES,and copies of the LAWS.
I also reqested that they make the car WHOLE ( in good and adaquate repair and condition ) as under the LAW ( warrenty of sevicability )417 NY and under INSPECTION LAWS.
They had the nerve to call me,and offer " A FREIND MECHANIC " to look at it,then stated they would fix what needed to be fixed.
I told them I will seek CERTIFIED ESTIMATE FROM COMPETENT
SORCE TO FIND EXACTLY WHAT THE DEFECTS ARE THAT NEED
REPAIRING AND TAKE IT FROM THERE . I WON'T BE TAKEN FOR A
RIDE !!
This BUSSINESS IN COMMITTING FRAUD UNDER THE LAWS !!

AFTER VIGOROUSLY ARGUMENTS/SUBBMISSIONS OF CONSUMER LAWS/COPIES OF REPAIR ESTIMATES,they finnally agreed to start repairing ALL defects.The Dealer took the car for 2-3 days for agreed upon repairs,but ironically called me back within a couple hrs.,brought the car back to me stating they would get to it in 3 days.Subsiquently during the middle of late PM/early AM,i was awoken by a police officer stating my car was found burning up out of town.It was stolden & Burnt. I have filed small claims action & a Complaint with DMV V&T Safety Office. The dealer claims they were going to repair it in " A GOOD FAITH GESTER ".WHAT A JOKE !! I'm going to ask for triple damages for deceit.The car has appearantly been conveniently destroyed as scrap,so it can-not be inspected by the state.I had to use cuss words to even get the state to investigate.Now the state will wait untill after small claims.I'm still getting the run around,but have estimate statements the Autos' DEFECTS wear out over time ,and were like that at time of purchase,so i got a good shot in small claims.If i don't prevail the DMV told them they should pay me.I'll pursue that,and contact Attornry Generals.I go after those who mis-use me with a passion!! Will let you know. BUYERS BEWARE !!!
