FEDMOD Wont Refund me Money and cant get a hold of anyone. Irvine California
To whom this may concern,
I have hired FEDMOD in August 2008, to do a modification for me. They charged me $2,995. I was told by many people in the company that this won't affect my credit and I would not have to pay my mortgage till the modification was complete (I have all this in e-mail). Months go by and my file has been handed off by so many unprofessional employees and not one of them knew where my file was. At least 10 different people dealt with my file and not one of them did any help for me. Now, my credit got hit and I asked for my refund back in December and till now I have not been able to get a hold of anyone. Every time I call no one picks up the phone or it just reroutes me back to the menu. I have emailed many people in the company and there have been no responses. The only response I get from a lady named Kristen Lukes who is dealing with the account is;

I just wanted to update you on your refund status. Your refund has been processed for $2995, and was to be sent out last week. However, due to a court imposed order, we are temporarily unable to release funds at this time. Our attorneys are currently in the process if dealing w/ this matter and feel confident that this situation will resolve shortly. Once we achieve this resolution, we will contact you regarding your scheduled refund. Rest assured, our policy remains intact and we will honor our commitment to you. We apologize for any inconveniences that this delay may have caused. Again, we will contact you as soon as the funds are released and we have a scheduled date for you.

I have many e-mails saved and not one of these e-mails where true. I would like to seek help and get my funds.
