If the puppy came with a health guarantee and your vet says the puppy is deaf, then the puppy is deaf. You don't need a high dollar test to prove that a dog can't hear. If your vet is willing to attest to the fact that the puppy had a defect when you purchased her, then file a complaint with the local District Attorney's office and contact the breed association if your dog is registered. Send a complaint in writing to the corporate officers of Fido's Puppy Shop. Don't be surprised if they offer you your money back and then destroy the dog. On another note, your seven month old dog can be potty trained without the benefit of hearing. Use sight commands versus voice commands (as if you were dealing with a deaf human). One of my dogs obeys both hearing and sight commands.
