FireFly Electric Fire places: DO NOT do business with them!! They will STEAL your money.

On 10/11/2004 I purchased an electric fire place from FireFly for $795.00. The delivery date was 11/05/2004. This was suppose to be a Christmas gift for my wife. On 11/17/04 I emailed FireFly to see if my fire place had shipped. They said they were running behind and it would be several more weeks. This was the same story I got every couple of weeks for the next month.

Calling FireFly and speaking to a human is almost impossible. They rarely answer the phone. Usually an answering machine answers. My first few phone messages were never returned. One time when I called the answering machine said it was full and could not accept any more messages. It was full for several weeks.

Finally on 12/10/04 I decided they were not going to ship my Fireplace in time for Christmas so I cancelled my order by Email and I was also able to get through on the phone after many attempts to verify my cancellation. I spoke to Bob and Nigel and they said no problem they would refund my money by next week. Next week came and went and repeated emails from FireFly kept saying we'll refund your money next week. I never got the money refunded.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to aid in getting my $795.00 back too.

It is now 01/23/04 and I still have not gotten my $795.00 refunded from FireFly. They stole my money.

I can not urge you enough DO NOT do business with FireFly no matter how good their prices are. They will rip you off.
