Isaac, there has definately been violations of the FDCPA here. The most obvious one is that they are not allowed to advise others of your debt. IT definately sounds like they disclosed the debt to your Mother and possibly other family members. The only way around that is that you gave permission to speak to your Mother and others about the debt, or they are a co-maker on the debt.
