First Capital Consumer Group BEWARE!! Ripped off and Scammed "Internet" *UPDATE .. Thanks to Rip-off Report ...We had our money back in 24 hours.
My husband received a call from First Capital telling him that he could receive a Mastercard and Visa with a limit of $2500 dollars each card. We only had to pay $199.00. They would take this money by electronic withdrawal and after they got the money we would receive our cards within 10 to 14 days.
I wish I had been smart enough to look on internet first but that was not the case. While my husband was talking to this woman I had him ask her how did we know that this wasn't a scam since we had not received anything in the mail first. Of course, what a joke to find out that it really is. Anyway, she replied, "oh no, I even have a number that you can call and verify everything. It is a customer service number. The number is 416-488-4664.". Well, it seems they gave the same number to everyone else that I have read about being scammed by this company. We have called several times and all we receive is an answering machine. Imagine that!!!
We are going to see what we can do to hopefully get our money back and we will now have to change our account and all. What a mess. Next time we will definitely know to look on the BBB or the Rip Off Report first. Please beware of this company. They are happy to take your $199.00 but you will never see your cards!!!!

As I wrote before we did fall for the big scam that First Capital is using. We payed the $199.00 and, like everyone else, we did not receive our cards.
As I read this web site Rip-off Report for the first time I was reading how to get our money back. We did as the Rip-off Report said and called our bank and told them we had not authorized an electronic transfer from this company.
The Police had us come in and sign and affidavit against this company. We had our money back in 24 hours.
I hope that this company gets everything it deserves. I know a lot of people have not been as fortunate as us to have their money returned and, I am sure, that the $199.00 dollars is alot of money for us to just give away. I would like for everyone to know that First Capital actually had the nerve to call our home yesterday, ask for me, since the last time it was my husband's call, and offer me a credit card. How is that for a set of balls!!!!!!!!
