First Capital Consumers Group ripoff ripoff business from hell Buffalo New York
My Name is Harlena. I was contacted over the phone by a sales rep. named Wanda from First Capital Consumers Group about 2 weeks ago.I was told that i was approved for 2 credit cards (one being a visa, and the other one a mastercard) with credit limits of $2500 each.
She askd me if i was interested and i said yes. She preceded to tell me that all i would have to do was have a valid checking account and i had to be 18 years of age.So after that she took all of my information (name, address, birthdate, and social security number).
Then after about 5 minutes she came and asked for the name of my bank, my routing number, account number, and what date should they process the check. After that was was done she preceded to tell me that my checking account would be debited for $199.00 on May 31, 2002.She asked me did I agree and I said yes.
My problem is that i was discussing with a friend about this company and she basically told me that First Capital was a rip- off scheme. Immediately after that I called the number Wanda gave me which was 416-488-0219 and i couldn't get anyone but the answering service which stated that the voice box was full then it immediately hung up.
I then Paniced and had my husband call and he left numerous messages that he wanted the order cancelled. So on May 31, 2002 my account was not debited $199.00. But on June 7, 2002 a Company called First Capital Has taken $199.00 out of my account.
My bank said that the debit was under First Capital Coin Telephone Company and they did not a have a telephone number or a address for these people. Thats when I found out about ripoff.report.com.
Please Help Me Get My Money Back.
