First Capital Consumers Group ripoff- It happened to me. It could happen to you too! Toronto Ontario
I was contacted by these dogs right after I had applied for a legitamate secured card to get my credit back on track. Since I had just applied for this card not long before, I was not surprised to be contacted and told that my application was approved (I mean, it's a secured card, of course it's approved).
They told me all they needed to mail me my mastercard is the $199.00. Since they had so much of my personal information, I was not suspicious, especially having just recently applied for the secured card. The money was drafted from my account a couple days after the agreed upon date.
But, having attempted to contact the "company" a few times, I began to get nervous. Everytime I called I got a message telling me that all of there people were busy and to leave a message. Which I did a few times. Gee, no calls back.
So, I decided to do a web search for this... "company" and found no web site for them. Instead I was greeted with several other identical accounts of other innocent, naive people who were duped just like me. I have since filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and my local police department's internet fraud dept. We gotta get them back!!!
