Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Hello, I have been scammed by First Capital Consumer, they are located in Toronto, Canada. I can not seem to find a address for them but I have there number, inwhich takes about 20 calls before I actually get through to

someone.

I was offered a $2000 MasterCard from this company. They deducted 199.00 from my account on April 2nd 2002, and I have yet to see any card. I was told by Phil Reed of First Capital Consumer, that I would recieve my

card in 10-14 days.

Today is May 25th 2002, and I have not yet received a

card from this company. What can I do?. I have called them on several occasions asking for a full refund of the 199.00 and they stated they can not do that, it is out of our hands now.

I have been ripped off, and I'm sick and tired of it. When I called and asked for a refund on one occasion

they stated they are gonna have to pull a tape of the recording of me aggreeing or not, determining whether I will get a refund or not. The way I feel about this is, it d!

>oesnt matter wether I agreed or not, I still should be entitled for a refund. I can change my mind if I want. Please help me get my well earned money back, As I have to support My wife and son on one income.

What Can I do.? I lived up to my agreements with this company, and they are not living up to theres. I have received nothing from them. I sacrificed some bills

thinking i was going to get my card and it never happended as of yet.

This was a over the phone transaction

Go to your bank and request to fill out a "dispute form" since if it has not exceeded 30 to 60 days, depending on your banks policies your bank should voluntarily help to get your money back. Also ask to have them put a stop from this company ever debiting from your account HOWEVER
Don't count on this because this company uses various aliases to get your money, since they now have your bank account information. If your bank gets involved and you get your money back, Close your account immediatly! They will stop at nothing to get your money.

Soon after my bank got my money back I received 2 peices of mail from a Mega saver and an autoclub membership both are another way they are trying again to get your money. The mail will state that they plan on debiting your account $99 and 54.90 unless you cancel. I was given about 8 phone numbers and supposedly able to cancel from them Again! but in the I closed my account and opened a new one.

Also if you should recieve a packet from this company, send it back immediatly, this could delay getting your money back. I am not saying that this company is a willing participant in giving your money back, they are NOT! They just don't want to deal with the lagitament corporations like your bank for example. Try and call them to cancel and get a "RA number" and place this on the top right corner of the paper you should write stating your demand of your money returned. If you are able to cancel they will inform you of a tape pull of you agreeing but don't let them Scare you and they will also state that their corporate office will contact you within 7-14 days. This is not true they are trying to buy time to keep your money. Good luck!
