I recieved a phone call by First Capital Consumers in January of 2002. They asked me if I could use a master card. And I did to build my credit. They told me there was a processing fee and a annual fee but I could pay it over the phone having it taken right out of my account. The cost to me was $199.00. which didn't seem unusal. Since I had the money coming up I agreed to have it withdrawn electronically from my account. They said I would recieve my package in the mail in 3-4 weeks and a week after that I would recieve my master card. I recieved a folder with a bunch of papers and that was it. So I called back to see where it was around the end of March. They said they would contact the bank issueing the mastercard to let them know I had not recieved it. The end of April I tried to call several times and could never get a hold of them. And finally in May I did get a hold of someone and I told them I wanted my money back. the woman assured me that they would give me my refund. Which never happened. I then got on the internet to see if I could find them and thats when I found Rip-off.com. I then called them again only getting very rude and non-negotiable people on the other line. Its been since Febuary 1, 2002 since they took my money. This has taken a lot of my time. I'm a single mother and I could use the money. Its not fair. I've been robbed and I want my money back.
