First Choice Tel ripoff deceptive company Illinois
I too was contacted by this company. They told me they would send me information in the mail and I never recieved it. After the initail phone call (don't remember his name but he was extremely flirty, boarder line harrassment) I receive 5 more calls from the company asking for my bank routing information.
I wouldn't give it to them, stating I already had and they hung up on me. So I called my bank and put a stop payment on the draft for $298 until I could get a hold of some one. I realized that I didn't know the name of the company. So I told them it was a VISA card company. Well the draft came through with out being stopped because my bank was screening for a credit card company. So I called and they stopped the payment and put the money back in my account.
I have been trying since the 13th (Friday the 13th, go figure) to get a hold of the company to explain why I put a stop payment and discuss the transaction. Well now I realize the scam. I am so glad that this web site exsists. (I apologize for my poor spelling.
They promised me a $2,500 limit to rebuild my credit. I am in the military and wanted to switch assignments (bases) with some one and planned to use my new and only credit card.ow I can not swap assignments. I am very disappointed.
