I CLOSED MY ACCOUNT WITH FCNB LAST YEAR. I THEN RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THEM STATING THAT THE ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED AND PAID IN FULL.
AFTER RECEIVING THE LETTER FROM FCNB I THEN OBTAINED A COPY OF MY CREDIT REPORT STATING THAT THE ACCOUNT WAS JUSTIFIED BY THE CONSUMER AND CLOSED.
WELL THEN TODAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM A COLLECTION AGENCY STATING THAT I HAVE A BALACE THAT WAS REFERED TO THEM TO COLLECT FROM FCNB I INFORMED "GAIL EVANS" THAT THE ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED AND PAID IN FULL AND I WOULD LIKE A CONTACT # FOR FCNB IN REGARDS TO THE BALANCE THAT WAS REFERED TO THEM. SHE INFORMED ME THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ANY CONTACT INFORMATION I ASKED HOW SOMEONE CAN REFER AN ACCOUNT TO THEM AND NOT GIVE THEM THE CONTACT INFORMATION. SHE STATED THAT I CAN FAX THE VERIFICATION TO HER @ 215-230-5797.
I AM GOING TO FAX THE VERIFICATION TO HER TOMORROW. THE COLLECTION AGENCY'S # IS 866-594-8646.
THEN IN READING SOME OF THE LETTERS ON THIS SITE I ALSO CALLED 888-530-3626 AND I TALKED TO A WOMAN BY THE NAME OF CINDY SHE IS FROM TH ECREDIT CO. SHE WAS NOT EVEN ABLE TO FIND ME IN THE SYSTEM. I ASKED HER HOW IS IT THAT THEY CAN SEND AN ACCOUNT TO COLLECTIONS AND NOT BE ABLE TO PULL UP THE ACCOUNT IN THE SYSTEM.

I HAVE TALKED TO AN ATTORNEY AND I WILL BE FILING A SUIT AGAINST THEM.
