first financial screwed us too.
on october 10th 2001 we were contacted by a representative of first financial. they offered us an unsecured visa or mastercard to help us rebuild our credit after our bankruptcies. the rep. said there was a one time processing fee of $219.95 we wanted to start rebuilding our credit so we decided to take the offer and gave the rep the account number to our savings account. on oct. 11,2001 there was a withdrawal of 219.95 from the account via telephone.
i was told it would take 10-15 days to get some forms to sign and send back and from there it would take 1-3 weeks to get the card. i called several times in the next 2 months following their sales pitch. i recieved the papers on nov.17 and mailed it back on nov 19. iwas already worried by this point so i sent the paper back registered mail . it was signed for on 11/24/01 by S. Phillips. the papers were sent to "ncci processing center 7350 tamiami trail south suite 213 sarasota florida 34231"
to this day i cannot reach anyone with their customer service center nor have i received a credit card.
