First Investors Financial Services Rip Off And Harasses Customers 10+ calls a day even after speaking to someone. Houston Texas
I refinanced through First Investors. My first payment got lost in the mail. As a result, I started getting phone calls at a rate of 10 or more a day. I finally agreed to do a stop payment on the lost payment and do a check by phone for that payment. The agent assured me that he noted the check number that was to be stop payment. Well guess what, 2 weeks later I have received 5 phone calls in 3 hours. I have already told 3 people what happened. Add to this the fact that I traded the car in more than a week ago and they are wanting me to make another payment. I have told them to stop calling me and they are refusing.
Here is the kicker. I live on the East Coast and these people will call me at like 10:00pm which is against the law. They also are calling me and leaving repeated messages which is against the law. I know my rights as a consumer. I have a decent credit score or I would not have been able to purchase a BRAND NEW CAR last week. I am considering filing suit against this company. Anyone considering a refi with them BEWARE!
