First National Benifits ripoff Charlotte North Carolina
I was contacted by a representative from this First National Benifits and was told that for a $29.95 processing fee, I would receive an package with an application for government grants along wit a check for $100 which was mine to keep regardless of whether or not I applied for the grants. I received a package without an application for government grants, no ckeck, and an application for a pay day loan. I contacted local law enforcement and was told this is called theft by fraud an that I need to contact the company and ask for a refund. The company told me that I misunderstood them -- they claim they never offered a check for $100. I talked to my lawyer and he told me to file a suit in small claims court in Sulphur, La. since that is where the promise was made to deliver the check. That's what I intend to do.
