In October 2001, I attended a presentation by First Travel Club in Englewood. It was basically having all the benefits of a timeshare, without the timeshare price and major discounts in all aspects of travel plus cash back incentives. For some reason I was trusting that day -- all contracts looked legal.

I should have been suspicious when I had to pay full membership fee of $4995 by credit cards. The person I dealt with was Gary A. Hoover.

I even used their services and called by phone -- I should have gone to their office at 5520 N. Union in Colorado Springs. Since they arranged a good travel hotel -- I didn't think anything of them being a scam.

In February 2002, I received email from Tracey Garin [email protected] stating they were working on their website, but in the meantime -- a list of toll free numbers were given for car rental, air reservations, hotels, etc. Email said to send in info to get a login. I didn't do it at the time, because I didn't need it. Since then 7/2002, I needed travel reservations --

I tried to contact the company, have found this company is out of business, but Savasi is handling all travel needs -- www.savasi.com -- this website has all the same words, promises as first travel club. I searched for Tracey Garin on the internet and found his name for a complaint against Equicredit loan company -- I found his email address as [email protected] -- I called the savasi number listed on web page and I get the same message as First Travel Club -- they say to hold on while they transfer to first available agent -- then you get there and they say leave your name and number and we'll get back to you.

I am collecting names of others who have been scammed -- I'm contacting my pre-paid legal service to do a class action suit. I have sent my report to District Attorney of Denver, BBB, Federal Trade Commission. I want these people found and put in jail. Another name that comes up is Kimberly Garin. Both Tracey (must be her husband or brother) live in Colorado Springs. Hopefully the Attorney General can locate these people via DMV records.

Next time anything happens like this -- ask for their license number, their CEO name and phone number, anything to verify they are legal. Ask for their business license (I guess that can be counterfeited also). I'm hoping the internet will catch these people.

I wrote [email protected] on 7/7 and got a reply that Savasi is servicing previous First Travel members. So they are still actively scamming people.

All of the companies are involved in fraudalent business tactics

First Travel/Savasi Travel/Access One Travel, Inc. / KTG Asset Management, Inc/ are all family owned businesses. By either, Tracey Garin, Kimberly Garin, or Sammy Payne, (Kimberly's Father). All of the companies are involved in fraudalent business tactics. There is also documentation in District Court, and the District Attorneys office for El Paso County regarding criminal proceedings. You may hit a wall, because most of the records are sealed. Approximately 2 years ago The state attorney generals office in the civil division was investigating complaints against first travel. Tracey Garin can now be contacted through Access One or KTG Asset Management located at 5510 N. Union, Colorado Springs, CO. You can find alot of information if you go the Secretary of State Office. Just for your FYI. The Tracey Garin property is being foreclosed on.

Update on Savasi Corp

#3REBUTTAL Individual responds

Savasi Corp is now promoting a telemarketing scam. They will leave a message on your answering machine advising you have won a free blah, blah - you must respond in 48 hours. They give a toll-free number and prize number. Or you can log onto IWIN.COM to claim your prize. I e-mailed IWIN.COM and advised them to remove me from their telemarketing list. Since then, I received 2 more messages at home. My caller ID showed this was from Savasi Corp (719-260-5527) - I called them and asked to be removed from their telemarketer list. Please beware!

I have traced this company down and confirmed they are one in the same. Public records are available to show this. If anyone has any additional information or has been scammed, please reply to this report. Another person in this scam is Tracey Garin's wife Kimberly Garin. She was named as a Point of Contact in the BBB complaint. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, the Denver District Attorney's office, and the El Paso County District Attorney's office. They also use the services of PayPal.com and PaySystems.com and Silverscape Technologies -- I have contacted all these companies to alert them.

If First Travel/Savasi is up and up, then they should contact me immediately....
