Complaint Review: Fitness Singles - Buffalo New York

I can say with 100% certainty that the article about this company is true. I had the exact same experience. Opened a free profile and was inundated with emails and interest but couldn't interact with the free profile. I bought the monthly subscription at $12 and was charged for the entire year. When I went back into the site the profiles were gone and the interest and emails stopped happening. This leads me to believe the profiles were fake. This was the case for a couple weeks.

I sent an email to the contact us email on the site and received no response. For the next couple weeks I received matches that were thousands of miles away and also not even close to my preferances. I even received males in my searches. How is that possible???????????????? many of the members were not at all fit or athletic so if they do such great screening how are they on the site. This is what I was looking for and it never happened. The second I paid the money everything went to crap and the company did nothing about it.

I sent more emails and received no response.

I called my credit card to dispute the charges and as soon as Fitness Singles received the dispute they cancelled my membership. The disputed my dispute saying they did not offer refunds. That in itself is sketchy!! So my credit card company did not credit my account and said I had to take it up with the company. I asked them if they knew that Fitness singles cancelled my subscription and is looking to keep my money and they said no. SO, they are liars as well as scam artists. And I am out $153 for a service I never received. That is fraud. They lied to the credit card company as well.

I will be contacting the BBB and anyone else that I can to make sure everyone knows this company is corrupt.

The ironic thing is the "owner" Chris, replied to the first complaint and offered a number 1 888 690 0034 and told the author to call and a refund would be arranged. No joke....read the first complaint and then the response.

I called that number and the message said the number would not deal with and issues and to contact through the website. Haha, I have done that several times and they do not reply.

Total scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The next ironic thing is that I am on the free subscription and I am getting interest and emails but can not read them. Do they really think I am going to pay them?? That is just pathetic.

I fully support the original author on this point.

Please be assured that Fitness Singles does NOT under ANY circumstance create fake profiles.  All profiles are user generated and we have staff dedicated to removing any profile that seems suspicious or behaves innapropriately. Profiles are manually reviewed by our staff and must meet stringent criteria before being approved. If a fake profile is reported or discovered it is immediately removed from the website w/o question. Fitness Singles has an "A" rating with the Better Business Bureau and operates in six countires around the world. We did not become the fastest growing and largest dating site of its kind by providing a poor experience to our members. Hello everyone. Let me tell you about the website:  Fitness-Singles.com.... This is an absolute Ripoff. Before anyone sign up to this website please think not only once,  think twice or more...  First of all, you wont ever get a refund if you're not satisfied with the services. Second: This site has variety of tricks, such as untill you'll be a paid member they will drive you crazy with the prefference of such you've picked in your profile that's you've created and what you're looking for, plus they do have an interns  or employees who does what they ask them to do, i'll give you a lil sample here. I've created my prifile on this site since 2006 and get this, i've got all hot guys as i've preffered  email me left and right. As soon as you'll become a paid member, all of them get dissappeared to who knows where. Lots of fakes on this site, so before you threw your money on this site and get an  unpleasant experience from hell, just take a min and think there for a sec.....
