Florida Metropolitan University ripoff. I should still have $2000.00 dollars left with the grant that I had, but they say I owe them. Safety Harbor Florida
Florida Metropolitan University ripped me off. I recieved a $4000.00 grant which was applied to my first semester when I took two classes. There is no way that these two classes added up to $4000.00 plus. I received a letter in the mail stating that I owed them $1500.00 and if it weren't paid by the end of that month that I would be sent to collections. At this time I was in the middle of seeking an apartment to rent and my credit was being checked. It came back that they had already sent me to collections before they even mailed that letter out and screwed me over with getting the apartment.
I should still have $2000.00 dollars left with the grant that I had. I have tried to call then numurous times in regards to this matter and no one calls me back. They all tell me that it doesn't sound right and that they're going to check into it but they never do. I've tried everything and can't get this off my credit. I don't know what to do. That school is horrible. Big time ripoff conspiracy here!
