I have already complained about FMU online program. In fact they told me all of my credits are fully transferable to any other university. I spoke with a couple major universities and they would not accept any of the classes from FMU. They are overpriced as $349 per credit hour is ridiculous! That is only for an A.S. Degree. If I wante my B.S. they charge $498 per credit hour which is very expensive.

Key here is say one universities code for a composition class is ENC1101. FMU's code is ENCP1106. Maybe the same course, but according to the state of Florida ENCP1106 is not recongized as ENC1101 is. That is how you tell if classes are transferable. Be careful as they gave me a break down of financial aid but I end up paying most of it back six months after I graduate.

I loved the convenience of online and doing this at home but weighing pros and cons of FMU, forget it. Fully investiagte every college before agreeing to any program. A lot of jobs with the City will not look at an online degree either.

STOP ATTENDING ALL THESE JUNK ON LINE SCHOOLS AND YOUR PROBLEMS WILL BE SOLVED All brick & morter colleges and community colleges offer on line classes now at reasonable state tuition rates. If everyone would just stop this Bull$#*& of attending these rip off places of higher education, you would not be getting yourselves in a financial bind, or having these rip off companies trying to ruin your credit. Then UOP, AXIA, STRAYER, CAPELLA, and who ever else Jon Doe for profit schools will close up shop and be gone for good! These on line schools are a 100% rip off. I have taken a few on line classes through one of my local community college's and I am satisfied to know that its 100% accredited and transferable to any 4 year university, no questions asked. Please everyone, stop giving yourself a heartache

As a former student at FMU- Orlando North, I can vouch that their credits do not transfer. I enquired of Valencia CC as to whether they accept FMU credits, and the admissions person I spoke to sounded like she was trying not to laugh as she said "no, sorry." I also took an online class last fall. I started two weeks late as I had begun the on-campus class, but dropped it as the instructor was obnoxious. The online professor would not accept my reason for starting late, and refused to accept the first two weeks' assignments even though I made them up within a few days of starting the class. She also took several days to email me back regarding any issues or questions. Please DO NOT attend FMU, online or on-campus. Employers in the Orlando area do not even take it seriously. If you put it on your resume, you will receive no response.
