This college is a joke. I'm ashamed to have wasted my money and time at this school. Lisa Velarde (executive director) is a convincing and manipulative human being. She makes me sick and disgusted to be the director of a COLLEGE. Lies about the students attendance, fudges the numbers, and treats employees and students like crap. Sleeps with half of the managers and professors! Come on now really?! Your supposed to set an example!
The "professors" aren't qualified to teach the students. Professor Whitehurst is a w***e. Look at your background on the sheriff website. She accused a poor mans reputation and he lost his family because of it! She's still teaching your children! Freaking ridiculous! I learned the wrong way to draw blood and was transferred to another externship site because of her.
Background checks for students are a joke. Employees are rude and helpless. They try to cover their own a*s so they don't get fired or sued by the company. I know certain employees who hate their jobs here and are sick of pretending that everything is okay.
Mr. Ruggieri says he wants to help improve his schools and will try to maintain a daily focus on the school which won't happen either. Too many things are happening at my boyfriends school in Orlando and here in lakeland. They need to get a huge hold on the lakeland and Orlando schools in order to save their reputations. Wrap it up already! Care about the employees who you hardly pay. Please dear god get rid of the teachers who don't know what they are talking about and/or sleeping with the students. For example, Professor Whitehurst.

This place is a joke, every college thinks they are a joke, i waisted my money and time here, ALL EMPLOYEES are rude here, financial aid is a JOKE they are sooooo dumb and cant do their job. They called me non stop for the first 4 months to get my info right. I call the campus and noone is ever available to talk to. noone calls back after multiple messages.
Shut it down. this place is a joke and a money hole. they just want you money its a business and they dont care.
I walked in a few time and all managers are joking talking flirting with each other or students. they are a mess.

Unfortunately, I'm also a victim of this problem. I was a student and employee at your campus. What she is saying is true and I'm ashamed I got myself mixed up into this mess. Having a child is hard enough but even harder when your constantly threatened and lied to on a daily basis. The manager used me and I intend to not let my future be ruined because of him. This college is a poor excuse and should be closed down immediately. Managers sleeping with students, drugs, scams, and worse of all employees lie to save their own a*s. Really hoping the educational system for Florida investigates. The department of education shouldn't associate themselves with this kind of company.

You are really getting ahead of yourself again - pretending to be a former student, with a boyfriend no less. We both know you are a former employee who was terminated. That is the fact. Your comments are completly without merit and as you were previously told, need to stop. You already have one of the former Rip Off guys filing a police report on you for stalking him !.
I do care, that's why you are no longer with us. Move on - it's time to put this behind you before you completly incriminate yourself and have another set of problems to deal with.
