Focus Nutra withdrew $1,500 Canadian dollars from my credit card account without any authorization from me over the span of 6 months. I bought a bottle of Garnicia at $5.99 on the internet (which was advertised by Dr. Oz as a natural supplement to eliminate toxins and the like). I entered my credit card number expecting to be charged a one time $5.99 charge. As a busy mom and at a time when my father was ill (he passed on May 22nd)  I had'nt noticed the monthly charges of $250 Cdn dollars per month. My husband uses the credit card mostly for his business expenses, so amounts are usually high. Yesterday I was doing his quarterly reporting to submit the goods and services tax and I noticed these charges. I was in tears. I called my credit card company and they told me I had to deal with the merchant first. When I called them, they asked me to write to them by email. I terminated my contract for future charges but they are unwilling to pay me back the $1,500 they took from me. They said that I had 14 days after receiving the product to terminate a monthly membership with them. I am still very shaken up and everytime I think about it, I am in tears. This is clearly unethical and is a scam. Please-buyer beware.
