Foundation House Surprise after Surprise Topeka, Kansas
Professional fire alarms is like dealing with the most professional rip offs I've ever seen in 35 years of doing business, very fast with the doubletalk , when I first contacted the company I had already contacted several other companies for estimates, one company told me they were not familiar with that particular fire alarm system and suggested they would replace the whole system for $3800. A second company said they would replace what was needed and get the system up and running to past fire marshal's inspections but it would be two months before they could get to it.
Professional fire alarms of Topeka informed us that it would not take all that much to get our system up and running for the inspections, before we knew it they had spent $2800 of our money and informed us it would be another $800 to complete the repairs for a total of around $3600. We cannot believe all of the runaround and doubletalk we had received from Debbie and Becky at their office. There was several other fire sprinkler companies and fire suppression companies we've used on this project with no complaints. Professional firearms of Topeka supplied us with a folder like the other companies with certificates of completion in them.
When the fire Marshall was looking over all the documents supplied by the other companies all documents were complete. But when going through the folder from professional fire alarms of Topeka they noted there was no testing certificate, I called professional fire alarms of Topeka and was informed by Debbie that we did not order a test and they would have to send out to more technicians. Their labor rate is $95.00 an hour for each technician and then they started with the doubletalk again.
My advice to anyone is not to deal with professional firearms of Topeka. And I would most definitely recommend capital city fire for professional service. Without wildly overcharging you. I've been involved in the remodeling and restoration of historical buildings for 35 years and I've never encountered a company that is as devious as this one. So if you do not want surprised after surprise stay clear of professional fire alarms of Topeka.
