Of course four peaks thinks 12 hours to respond is unreasonable. I have been trying to contact them since January 2013, they do not return phone calls on main line , direct line, fax line. They do not respond to emails. They have left me high and dry! I am complete with the program but they screwed up two accounts and collectors have began calling and four peaks won't return my call. Collectors tell me they want to work with Four Peaks but they can't get ahold of them.

When you entered into the program, you had two large balance accounts of credit card debt and you were only able to make a very small monthly payment into your savings account. In order to accumulate enough funds to negotiate and settle your account, it would have taken approximately one year, which was explained before you signed up with our program. Once you were close to accumulating the necessary funds to settle this account, we contacted your credit card companies for the settlement of the accounts. We had explained to you, several times in fact, in both email and by phone, that we had received a great settlement, and it would take two additional monthly payments to accumulate enough funds in order for us to resolve your account. We therefore asked if you were able to come up with the additional funds to settle this account immediately. Instead of trying to work with us, you decided to terminate your agreement and asked us to refund you the balance of your reserve account, which was done immediately. Since you terminated the agreement, we were not allowed to negotiate or respond to your creditors on your behalf and therefore cannot be held accountable for anything that happened to you after you chose to terminate your agreement with us. 15 days after you terminated your agreement, you stated you had received a letter from a law office. As you did not know how to handle the lawyers and the situation you put yourself in, you asked us to rejoin our program. The email you placed to us was received at Four Peaks at 10:08pm PST on Thursday July 10, 2008. Less than 12 hours after asking to rejoin our program, you sent us another email stating that you had decided to go with another company as you did not immediately hear back from us and no longer needed our services. Stating that there was very little contact between the two of us, while giving us less than 12 hours to reply is unjust and quite frankly, unreasonable. We are sorry you feel the way you do and the unfortunate situation you put yourself in, but had you continued working with us, this situation would have never arisen. You would have saved yourself a lot of money and frustration.
