Four Seasons Landscaping - four Seasons Multiple Services (Brad) almost double the regular cost to clear snow from parking area Victoria British Columbia
We have shoveled the snow in our business driveway for almost 20 years .The work was too much this year so I made a call to several bobcat agencies.With a snowfall the day before I didn't receive any calls to plow the drive and more snow was in the forecast.I received a call from Brad at four seasons to my business saying that our driveway would be plowed at 5 a.m. the next morning.
I did not get any quote at that time, I would trust he was a good business I had heard of them before he also said he had known a friend of mine and he would give me a good price.The bobcat did not show up until late in the morning and I was snowed in and had to delegate over the phone asking his rate to make sure our agreement was clear.Brad told me they do not rent buy the hour and gave me several other accounts that he had done and charged more.
I was unable to argue the price of 350.00 for the 1 hour of work the bobcat did at my business.I believe I had been overcharged but he assured me this was the going rate.I had a bad feeling about my judgment and made a call to another bobcat company to come out to give me an estimate and the amount was 200.00 an hour would put me on a priority list and if I needed an early morning snowplow it would be an extra 50.00.I have been in business for over 25 years and still am able to make some bad decisions and be gouged buy someone who takes advantage of the people needing a service .
