The same thing that has happened with all the 2006 stories I have read about Foxtons here, is currently happening with me. They input all wrong info on the home and they have not put us on the MLS after 40 days still. They lost a buyer we had due to the lack of having a Bi-lingual staff to handle the deal properly, the buyers got so fed up, they backed out on me. So here we go again. They make appts for showings, and are NO SHOWS. Don't make the same mistake we all did, try to save a buck and you get a BIG headache. Pay the extra commission for a faster and more reputable agency. That's what I will do next time, once I am out of the Foxton mess. What a waste of time, they all are. Best of Luck to all of us Foxton victims of the 3% scandal we got ourself into.

READ MY POST ON 6/19/06. I AND MY PARENTS GOT UNCONDITIONAL WITHDRAWAL'S AND I AS WELL AS MY PARENTS HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS WITH THE REAL ESTATE COMMISSION AND AN INVESTIGATOR HAS BEEN ASSIGNED. I GOT THE UNCONDITIONAL WITHDRAWAL BY SUPPLYING EVIDENCE OF THEIR BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS. I ALSO FILED A MAIL FRAUD COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM. A MAGAZINE THEY USED TO SEND OUT THROUGH THE MAIL EVERY QUARTER WAS NOW INSERTED IN THE BERGEN RECORD. IT NO LONGER COMES THROUGH THE MAIL. MY ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS SO THEY CAN'T CONTINUE TO GO ON HURTING PEOPLE.

After speaking with the Regional Manager Dan Colantuoni , I was informed that could not escalate my concerns to the Sr. Vice President of Sales. I was also told that he will not give an UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE because Foxtons doesn't do that. Pretty much, stay away from Foxtons!!!! If they screw up you continue to pay the price by their unethical and unprofessional practices. I am now going to take my story publicly to the press(es), New Jersey Real Estate Commission, Better Business Bureau, National Association of Realtors, etc. By the way, after speaking with the office of investigation at NJ Real Estate Commission, I was informed that I was by far the only complaint to them against Foxtons. BE VERY CAREFUL WHO YOU SELECT TO REPRESENT IN SELLING YOUR HOME, BECAUSE YOU MAY BE STUCK WITH THEM FOR THE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT JUST AS I AM.

In every state, real estate brokerages are licensed with some kind of professional regulation department. In New Jersey it called the Real Estate Commission. You can find it by googling "real estate licensing in new jersey". Right on the main page is a link to a complaint form that can be filled out and mailed. Fill it out and mail a copy to the brokerage (the regional VP would be a good choice). That will get their attention. Keep it factual and use words like "misrepresented" and "unethical" and "failure to represent" like in your rip off report.
