Fred Perry Mystery Shopper for Walmart and Western Union Internet
I was looking for jobs on Indeed.com and applied for a customer service vacancy with a company named http://mysteryshoppercanada.org/ They were looking for mystery shoppers to investigate Walmart and Western Union. In the email an individual named Fred Perry who said he was the head of recruitment for the company and they were looking for mystery shoppers. He stated that I should fill out the following information i.e. address, name and employment status and return it to the email address he had.
The job was to go into Walmart and Western Union and make purchases with the monthly money they would send. The amount was around 2000. Within 2 days I received a cheque from a company for $1950 in a UPS envelope. I found it weird seeing how I have never met this person and that they sent me money before they even met me to do work. I did not cash the cheque because I found it very weird. I even tried to look up both mysteryshopperscanada.org and Fred Perry and both did not exist.
Here is an exerpt from an email I recieved:
THE SECRET SHOPPING ASSIGNMENT INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS :
The paycheque is from our finance company and was issued to cover the project bills for your wages and Assignment. It is a Check:-
You should first take it to your bank for instant cash , Deduct $200 and $50 for Wal-mart which will be kept to your self as shown below.
Wal-Mart ====>$50
Commission for your first assignment =====>$200
Western Union transaction =====> Divide the rest of the money into two and Send them in two different transactions after deducting the transfer charges

We are shopping in Wal-Mart and Western Union location this time, We always instruct our secret shopper to shop according to the report made by different customers from various stores and Wal-Mart and Western Union has being the talk of the town from almost all of their customers that send money often, they were said to be slow and having bad customer relation - So your first assignment is to proceed to the Wal-Mart and Western Union outlet to find out about their Trading and operation system.
After evaluating Wal-Mart. As a secret shopper, You should pretend as if you are a client and want to send money, Memorize all you see at the outlet. We want you to report back to us on the following information's:As a secret shopper your job is to Observe, Memorize and Evaluate everything going on in the outlet. Also for the short period of minutes that it will take you to Observe, Memorize and Evaluate 1,2,3,4,5 below, you can't just walk in and out of the outlet without sending Money or else you would be suspected, That is why we send you the funds to make a transfer during the process so that everything will go fine without any interference during your visit to the Western Union Outlet.
We authorize you to send the remaining funds After deducting your first wages, To the above information provided for our up coming exhibition.Be aware that Western Union is going to charge you a token to get this money sent, You should deduct the Western Union charges from the money you have left with you and not from your own wages.
Make sure you don't go with a note, Only write down the name and address above along with you so that you will not make mistakes when sending the money, because if they see you writing anything down, they will definitely suspect you are a secret shopper, Just memorize all you see and report back to us.
Your next assignment will commence Immediately after you have reported back to us and your next payment will be included also.

I believe that this company targets the unemployed who are desperate for work and new Canadians. Be very careful people when looking for jobs. I have posted another post about another company that I found on the same website. Indeed.com I'm sure the website is reputable but be very careful. Stick to workopolis.com, monster.ca and Job bank. The employers there have to go through screening processes and I can't speak for Indeed.com
