Freedom Resource ripoff swindlers, deceptive company Woodstock Georgia
I was called in September,2002 and asked to verify the information they had about me. I don't know how they got my information. They said they would give me a $2,500 credit card.
They took off $ 221.95 from my checking account. Also they had a tie up with One Rate telecommunications which tried to take off $49.95 from my account. Since there was no available balance, the bank charged me a fine of $20.00. After that, in October(2002), the telephone company took off $15.00 from my account for administrative processing fee.
I called Freedom Resource, they said I have to fill out a refund request form and send it back to them which I did. Also, they told me I would receive only $197 as they would charge $24.95 for administrative processing. I kept calling them for my refund, but to no use. In January 2003, they said the refund amount check will be mailed on March 14. To this day, I have not received any refund check. I tried calling them umpteen times but to no response.
I lost $221.95 + $15.00 + $20.00(bank fine)= Total $256.95.
