I was doing research on computer monitor color calibrators. In one of the magazine articles I was reading there was a link offering a free calibrator (worth $240.) and free shipping.

It took me nearly two hours to complete the "survey" and required my signing up for multiple "offers" and registering my credit card. I kept thinking that it was worth it being as I still would come out financially ahead so I proceeded and did exactly as required. However, when it was time to "confirm" my address and receipt of my free product, suddenly I could no longer go further and was asked for my password. I tried and tried, requested it from the company for several days and never received a reply. However, I did have to pay Dell tech support $50. to correct my now damaged computer due to the numerous viruses, spam, etc. I picked up along the way, in spite of having current Norton virus and spam protection on my computer. I am also going to have to cancel and stop payment on several items. This is a total SCAM!

All the companies affiliated with FREEgiftworld.com would be very wise to stop all association with this company as it hurts their reputation and consumer base. I have contacted two of the companies so far and I wonder if they will do anything to compensate my being ripped off. If not, then I will be listing their names on this as well.
