Freemoviesdirect.com - Heathlysavings.com Ripoff unauthorized charges Internet
Signed up for free movies on "Freemoviesdirect.com". I thought I was going to get free movies, etc... Then I discovered the $48.00 charge on my bank card. Then I saw a $79.95 charge (Healthy Savings). We I finally tracked down a customer service number for the the $79.95 charge (646-495-8107, not even an '800'#). They said that it was for a "movie downloading site" and that the charge of $79.95 was part of the "terms and conditions". I advised them that I did not specifically authorize these charges and that had no need of their services and would like a refund. The customer service rep said that he would "report it to the Fraud department". I recorded his name (Benny) and said that I would be reporting this to my bank immediately.
Freemoviesdirect.com is not worth your time, money, or effort. Get movies elsewhere. I would like to know if there is some way that this/these sites can be banned or removed. Good luck to anyone caught with this scam. Record all the information that you get; names, phone numbers, reference numbers, cancellation numbers. Pass this information on to your financial institution and the BBB
