Flight from PHX to BMI w/a connection in DEN. 90-minute mechanical delay in PHX caused me to miss my connection in DEN. It was supposed to be a through flight (connection without switching planes) but due to the delay they pulled another plane in Denver and took off before we even landed. After 2.5 hours in line @ the airport and on the phone with "Customer Relations", the net result was that I was put onto a flight with a more reliable carrier into a somewhat-nearby city.

This alone added five hours to my trip, nevermind the drive that I must now make once I landed "nearby". Asked for them to provide a rental car but was politely told to shove it.

Lost out on five hours of work in an industry where time is money. No compensation there either, naturally.

Zero respect for their customers and zero accountability for a situation that they themselves created. Unacceptable.
