I decided to switch to Frontier after having bad luck with Hughes net. A tech came out and was upset that my phone jacks didn't work. He installed a phone line, came in, and told us that it should be buried within a week. That week came and went. 4 months later, it is still not buried. We were promised 3mbs speed. We get 100kbs. Our internet has a 20% drop rate. We were told that anything over 3% was cause for an immediate ticket to be filed. I have called Frontier over 20 times in the last four months. They finally sent a tech out to look at the line that was not buried (by this time, the line had been cut with our lawn mower...which we had to fix, and people have tripped over it and gotten hurt). The tech spliced our line with another line, tied it in a knot, hung the tied line on a sign holder, told us that he was done and the line should be buried. The internet is not any better or faster, the line is still not buried, and no one else has come out to look at it. I have called and called. I even went on their facebook page and posted pictures of the line job. They wanted me to PM them my info. I told them that they had my info. I told them I wanted a supervisor to call me by the end of the business day. Still waiting on that call, too. I wish I could post pics on here of the line job they did. I got Frontier because our kids need reliable internet for school. This company has let us down, and now we are stuck with them and their crappy service for 3 years. The company lies. They make promises they have no intention of keeping. They keep charging us for a service that is unreliable at best and nonexistant at worst. Be warned. Stay away.
