My husbands vehicle was shipped from Kentucky to Austin, Texas over 1st of July weekend 2017. The car was delivered to us in the late afternoon between 3-5pm on Monday July 3, 217. My husband did not go to work on Tuesday July 4 in observance of the 4th of July holiday. Wednesday July 5, my husband went to work with nearly a 50 mile total commute and then attended my nephews baseball game that evening when he noticed damage to the passenger side roof of our vehicle. At that moment we were on the phone with our relocation counselor and we reported the damage. The car was driven to work on Thursday and Friday after the damage was reported and then to an auto body shop for an estimate. The auto body shop confirmed that there was NO other damage to the vehicle except a huge dent on the roof of the vehicle where something incredibly heavy was pressed down on top. Fry-Wagner refused to pay the claim because it was outside of their 24-hour report damage window. They acknowledge that no damage was recorded to the vehicle when it was picked up in Kentucky and essentially said that they won't pay the claim because of their loophole. I will NEVER use this company or any associated in doing business with them. We have had mechanic after mechanic confirm that the damage was likely done by a car carrier and only a car carrier due to the rust and the nature of the damage in the spot on the roof of the car. It's just a shame that they hide behind their loophole instead of doing the right thing and fixing their mistake.
