FTD.Com Deliver Flowers Downers Grove Illinois
I recently ordered some flowers for my friend's anniversary. She loves flowers and perfumes, so I took advantage of sending a dozen roses together with a Vera Wang perfume. I was charged over $100 for this (including delivery charges). The flowers did get there on time, but they never had the Vera Wang perfume my friend so loves.
Once I found out the perfume did not come with the flowers, I emailed FTD about this, they replied sending an autoreply email saying someone will get back to me. When they do get back to me, they email me saying they were not able to read my email because I had sent an attachment (the attachment was the original invoice they emailed me when I originally ordered the flowers & perfume. I attached it as a reference).
I replied right away with the same message (regarding not having the perfume with the flowers) and this time I sent it without an attachment. Days go by and no response from anyone at FTD. So I decided to call a week later and spoke to their customer service to fix this situation.
According to them I did not get in contact with them right away, so they cannot credit me the extra amount I payed for having a Vera Wang perfume together with the flowers. I told them if I knew the perfume was not going to be delivered, I would have ordered the flowers alone and saved myself all the extra money I payed. I feel like I just gave FTD an extra $40 for nothing, and they are not able to refund any of it, because I did not contact them right away, which in fact I did, they just chose not to respond to me.
The best thing they said they could do is give me at $15 credit to use with any future. This is not good enough, since I will NEVER order from these people again. And I want to make sure no one else does.
They get an F in my book.
