Hi,

I am a journalist with 'Consumer' magazine in New Zealand. We have links with 'Choice' magazine in Australia, 'Which?' magazine in the UK and the 'Consumer Reports' in the USA.

I am investigating Fulfillment International, who are contacting people throughout Europe, Australasia and North America, re cheap vacations - "pay $500 for a $5000 package.

What I am interested in, is this. Does the 'rip-off' that so many people complain of,consist of:

1. That they take your money from your credit card, but there is no trip?

or

2. There IS a trip, but it's low quality and there are a lot of additional costs?

or

3. There IS a trip, but not as described (ie not staying at the hotels described/ no free cruise etc)?

Please file your information below if you have any, or please file your own Rip-off Report.

Thanks for your help,

Phil Mitchell

OH dear! I just run into this forum, I SOOOO invite you to read this article,

http://www.timesharescam.com/blog/107-timeshare-cancel-professionals/

I think It will pretty much say everything that needs to be say.

I went through a horrible experience with this resort, and I'm out of three thousand dollars right now BUT I'm in a process to cancel my timeshare.

Hi, my name is solitaire, I'm from Frankfurt, Germany. Yesterday my computer registered a phonecall from 001/4166441155 (thanks to ISDN technology) and I wondered, who could call me from the states. Well, now I know. About 1 hour ago KEN COPPS (employee no. 306) called me to tell me that I am one of the chosen and started to inform me about the wonderful trip I could make within the next 12 months and told me all the details everyone on this site was told (Florida, Bahamas - all inclusive). I am a sceptical person and did not know how to say 'Wo ist der Haken?'. Thanks to Ken Copps - very charming - now I've learned: What's the catch? I am going to get my new credit card within the next days, so he told me of course I could call him and he is going to call me back to make sure, the phonecall will not cost me to much. How nice! Everything he told me, sounded great and even if I would have to pay for the one or other thing, it would be worth a trip - I thougt... After I hung up, I decided to check the internet for Fulfillment International Corporation and the only thing I found are of your reports. I'm sorry for everyone being ripped off and happy, that I checked ripoffreport.com. If I get any further informations, I will let you know. Solitaire

Hi Phil, I live in New Zealand. On the 23 August 2002 I was contacted by Wayne Collins the Promotions Director of Fulfillment International by telephone, we spoke for one hour. I was told I had won a travel package starting in Florida, worth $15000US, 14 days at different locations, plus a bonus cruise. As we talked I learned I had to pay to get myself to Florida and also I had to pay via visa $495US per person as a promotional fee, in NZ money that is just over $2000NZ. Ok paid money...next day freaked out...I was concerned I had been scammed. Other amounts were $49US hotel taxes per person, $239US port charges. I waited 3 days for confirmation from them, whew, still feeling worried. Close to 18 days later I recieved the travel leather luggage and digital camera they promised me plus CD of trip. Very nice luggage. Well presented porfolio. Delivered by UPS. I have read all the reports here as I too was concerned, but one thing for me is, I intend to follow through with this travel package sometime in March 2003. Then I will be able to tell all of you how it really was. I like to think there are good people out there, but I must say I will never do this again. However I do feel I was mislead, I spoke with Wayne for one hour, he mentioned "WON" many times, then I spoke to another man, who taped our conversation, somehow that conversation does not have the word "WON" in it. So yes mislead I was, but what is done is done, my problem. Money has changed hands, I am going to Florida. I will keep you posted. I have emailed Fulfillment International many many times, and I have always had my questions answered the same day. I have also told Fulfullment International that they feature in the "Rip Off Report" here. Simply because I want to hear their side of the story. But I havent seen their CEO here yet!.. Phil, thank you for this opportunity to express how I am viewing this. Most people probably hung up in a second lol, but I didnt. Maybe I should have lol.

One complaint I've seen is you have to pay for your own air fare to get to the cruise. Another is the ship is owned by a non-USA company which has lower standards for the safety of the passengers, and those standards are not enforced as much.
