Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We purchased a holiday package from this lot in November 2002. We asked in March 2003 if it could be extended for personal reasons. To which they agreed. It was extended to Nov 2003.

In March 2004, we again emailed them to get some more details on travel arrangements and dates etc, as were wanting to take our "holiday" in September / October this year.

We received a reply via email stating that the customer care centre will be able to assist us once we were ready to book.

At this time we were also questioning them about another email from another company we recieved claiming that we had 'won' a similar trip. The email received contained personal information that we had given to Fulfillment back in Nov 2002.

Details such as address, ages, and credit card numbers. They denied having anything to do with this other company, but I would like to know how someone else can get the exact same details when many of them were no longer correct?

On Friday 9th July 2004, we once again contacted them via email, stating we are ready to book the holiday (in line with the 90 day notice that they required).

To this we recieved an email on 10th July 2004, stating that they were insolvent and closed down.

We parted with approx $1200 (AU) hard earned dollars via visa for this trip.

We never asked for a refund as we were aware that it was non-refundable, we just wanted a holiday.

Now we want compensation.

Here is a copy of the email we recived from Tracy Disorbo:

As one of our many customers who purchased a travel products package that included luggage, electronics, and software, as well as a complimentary holiday bonus certificate, we must update you on the most recent set of circumstances that has arisen involving our company.

It is with extreme regret that we must announce that due to circumstances outside of our control, our company has been forced completely out of business due to total insolvency.

Our shipping records confirm that the luggage, electronics, and software products package you purchased has been delivered to you. However, with much sorrow, we have to inform you that the complimentary holiday bonus certificate must be suspended. We are truly sorry for this most disappointing news. The demise of a long-standing company is a painful experience and we sincerely regret that our devastating company loss affects you and your family.

We would like to make you aware that there are several Internet links available to customers that offer incredible discounts for immediate and future travel requests. You may already be aware of these options, but we would like to give you a convenient opportunity to see all of the different options listed on a single page. Please go to www.softbreezes.net and you will find almost all of the discounted travel options that are available today.

Again, we offer our deepest apologies for this most unfortunate happening. If there was anything further we could offer, we would, but our company has been forced to close down completely. We deeply regret the disappointment created for you and your family.

Most Sincerely,

Fulfillment International Corporation

Chris
